Remember Hatch saying its "OK to destroy your computer?" |
|
Here is Hatch at his best. Remember when he said it was OK to destroy the computers of those suspected of software piracy? http://slashdot.org/articles/03/06/20/0046237.shtml?tid=103&tid=185&tid=99http://yro.slashdot.org/yro/03/06/17/220228.shtml?tid=103"Sen. Hatch is interested in technology to remotely destroy computers. But it would only be used if you're downloading copyrighted material, and only the copyright owner should be able to wield this awesome power, since having the feds do it would be against the law.":wtf:

2. Right to confront one's accuser |
|
If this comes to pass then those whose computers "were destroyed" should have a notification of "who" did the destroying.
To take a slightly more humorous approach, "uh, sorry for the destruction, it was buggy beta-ware."
Back to serious. Would this be considered something along the lines of inciting others to break Federal law?
