http://www.reformer.com/headlines/ci_7391450BRATTLEBORO -- John Nirenberg is not your typical Brattleboro activist. He doesn't wave signs, attend vigils or journey to Montpelier in a bumper sticker-adorned Prius.
But on Dec. 2, Nirenberg is outdoing them all.
The self-described "60-year-old, slightly overweight, believer in the system" plans to walk along Route 1 from Boston to Washington, D.C., advocating for the impeachment of President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.
"I decided I had to do something, and this is the result," Nirenberg said. "What changes? Who knows? Maybe nothing. But maybe other people will see this sad old guy making a walk. Maybe they'll make a phone call, and every phone call will help."
