I'm a student at VCU taking Virginia Government and Politics. It's an awesome class. The format is an hour of lecture, then a speaker or 2 for the next 2 hours. The first night of class we had Ellen Qualls, Warner's press secretary and Mike Shear, the Washington Post Richmond Bureau chief. The professors have promised the Governor, Mark Warner, Tim Kaine, Jerry Kilgore and other General Assembly bigshots.

I'm soliciting questions here so I'll be a little more prepared for coming classes. I'll post any answers back here.

6. Today, on the first page of the WashPost, the headline is....

"Va.'s Excess Tax Revenue Could Top $1 BILLION"! Ask Gov. Warner if he thinks he will receive any kudos from the majority Pub Legislature for this coup, especially since VA was in the red from Governors Gilmore and George Allen (REPUBLICANS), before Warner took over as Democratic Governor!

Ask them if they support voter verified paper ballots (not "receipts").

I've been trying to get an answer from Kaine with no luck so far. Nothing on his web site either.
