Mark Warner owns a restaurant in Alexandria.
I was there the other night. Just picking somebody up, so I only had a Diet Coke and a Pellegrino at the bar. Looks pretty nice and it is supposed to be pretty good food. $20.00 entrees though is little bit expensive for me.:-(

2. Isn't Warner independently wealthy ?
I think this is what endears him to many Virginians, that he gave up the potential to make gazillions of dollars more to run our state, so glad he's investing in our state.

$20 entrees in a nice Alexandria restaurant is cheap! I've eaten at many in the Old Town area, also, if it's locally owned (not a franchise) the money stays in the state. What's the name, I'll send my NOVA friends there!

Also, I learned to order from the appetizer, soup, salad parts of the menus to keep my restaurant bills low! The rest of that budget goes to a lovely pinot grigio :)

4. Mark Warner
Gov. Warner became wealthy in the cell phone industry by
taking advantage of a loophole that is no longer legal. He
used to be worth more than $100 million. Warner would be a
gigantic improvement over George Allen in the Senate, another
Virginian who has the illusion of becoming president. As to
running for president, the Democratic Party does not need a
nominee who has allowed executions when he could have stopped
them, as Warner has. We already have a president who allowed
executions when he was governor, but he's a Republican.

5. Yep, I ate there tonight! We were a party of seven.........
My son grabbed the bill; I gave him $100.; my other son gave him $20.; my son's father-in-law passed over two bills (I assume two $50.00)
The entrees were basically $20.00 each; a glass of wine was $8.00; pretty pricey! Food was good, but there are many other restaurants in Alexandria that are less expensive and just as good!
