I was just push polled by "Focus on the Family", here in Richmond, VA |
|
It was a computerized poll.
One of the first questions was close to: "Are you aware that Senate Democrats are blocking President Bush's judicial nominees even though they have the votes to be appointed?"
(I said "yes")
The next question was something like "Do you support this?" (except more aggressive)
(I said "yes")
Then it asked me if I was "pro-life with respect to abortion".
(I said "yes", because I am pro-choice and pro-life and I'm sick of the term "pro-life" being used by folks who are usually pro-death.)
It asked me if I had ever contributed to a non-profit, causes, etc.
(I said "yes")
"Do you consider yourself a Republican?" (I think this was the wording)
("no")
"Do you consider yourself a Democrat?"
("yes")
"Thank you, blah blah blah Focus on the Family blah blah blah Goodbye."
That's the basic run down.

1. You should have said "yes" to Republican. |
|
Your results will be held up as an example of Democratic evil.

2. You're safe. They won't call back. |
|
Had you reversed the answers to questions five and six, your phone would ring tonight just about the time you're starting dinner. Give them money, and you'll never eat alone again.
Wouldn't that be appetizing.

I'm in Richmond too and I got a call around 11:00AM. When I heard "Focus on Family" I thought...this can't be good...so I just hung up. If they call back I'll give the recording a piece of my mind!!!
