Virginia Dems, did any of you get a letter from Sen. Warner

in response to an email that you may have sent to him regarding the DSM? I got one today...single-spaced page and a half of BS about how wonderful Bush is doing in Iraq, how he is concerned about the loss of lives of Iraqis and our military BUT it's being done for democracy, etc. etc. Same old crap that we hear and read day in and day out. But he'll keep in mind the concerns that I wrote to him about.

Just wondering if you all received the same "form" letter that I did and if so, should we bombard him with more emails telling him that we need to hear something besides the same old worn out rhetoric that we always hear.

Typical whitewash politician email that said nothing of substance and addressed none of the concerns I brought up.

Sometimes I want to reply with, "Did you even read my fucking email?" (of course George Allen did get a pretty nasty one from me regarding the FMA last year).

...guess I'm not on his donor list :shrug: Though, I do get responses from Sen.Warner's office via snail mail, even when I query him through email.

My biggest concern is with Thelma Drake, our 2nd District GOP'ho', NEVER hear from her, and my letters of national concern are always written in non-partisan spirit sprinkled with patriotic concern.
