But Virginia will not go Democratic. Even still...picking Warner may not be a bad idea...he is a very smart guy, and a good politician. He dope slapped the Republican Legislature here this year.

That said, I think Warner can be more valuable NOT on the ticket than on it. He won an impressive election in VA with her personal touch and meeting as many voters as he could throughout the state. I'd like to have him doing that as governor here and getting out the vote. His impact on the ticket wouldn't be great.

I think both canidates have already taken for granted that VA is proably going to bo rep. I have yet to see a non national cable station campaign ad here. ( I live in Hampton Roads.)
I do believe that VA could very well be in play come November despite the largely conservative base here. There are many here who are getting very discouraged with the current situation in Iraq. If things do not improbe in Iraq. VA could very well go to Kerry come Nov.
