Gas Prices in VA

What are you guys seeing around the state after Katrina?

Here in Charlottesville there was a ~ $0.35 jump. From around $2.54 to $2.89/ gallon.

1. Heh. My first > $30 tank

I just paid $2.66/gallon for regular (Shell station on Barracks Rd.; minus a 5% rebate I'll get for using a Shell card to pay).

Not planning on going anywhere this Labor Day weekend. Between the gas prices and the destruction of civilization going on along the Gulf, it doesn't seem like time to take a vacation.

2. Already up to $2.99 in rural Southside VA

with very long lines at the one local station still at $2.69

3. Past $3 for regular

here in Fairfax County.

4. $3.19 in Blacksburg

Several stations are out of gas in the New River Valley

here in Dublin this shit sucks i can hardly afford to go to school and work

6. In Richmond

Costco went from $2.44 early in the week to $3.15 today and Sam's is out of gas.

7. Some idiot is going around the office

Spreading the rumor that all the stations are going to run out tonight, so if there's people going around town doing that, I can guarantee you that we will run out.

8. I paid $3.49 for regular on Saturday. The neighboring station was out.
