Ras: Kaine & Kilgore Tied At 45%
And remember, Rasmussen leans to the right...!

September 30, 2005--The race to be Virginia's next Governor is dead even with Republican Jerry Kilgore and Democrat Tim Kaine each earning 45% of the statewide vote.

Two weeks ago, Kilgore had a three point advantage over Kaine. In August, Kilgore held a six-point lead.

Independent candidate Russell Potts continues to attract five percent (5%) of the statewide vote. Barring a major surprise, he will not be included in the televised debate scheduled for October 9. Only candidates who have at least 15% support in the polls will be included.

Both major party candidates have added supporters in the past two weeks--Kaine has gained five percentage points (from 40% two weeks ago to 45% today). Kilgore has gained just two percentage points (from 43% to 45%).

1. Kilgore is an epic moron...
In the George Bush mold!! Unbelievably inarticulate.

Despicable campaign tactics!

And his "big" three issues are taxes, immigrants, and traffic. On the latter he is promising to widen I66 inside the Washington Beltway, which he cannot do because the state agreed when it was built not to widen it beyond 2 lanes. So he is a liar and a panderer.

And he seems to want to put every big decision up for a voter referendum. What would we be electing you for...idiot!!!

2. Immigrants?
Yeah, because VA is so close to the Mexican border. Man, I've never even seen the guy but I can already tell he would be a major phucktard in the VA governor's office. I hope we pull it out.

3. In Northern Virginia -
- immigrants and traffic are the big issues. We have a huge influx of illegals here, hanging out looking for day labor. They congregate in front of convenience stores and have become a problem for store owners and patrons. Local police won't enforce loitering laws to move them along. Town of Herndon is building a center for day-laborers which has caused a huge three-county uproar.

Illegal immigrants is a HUGE HOT issue in Northern Virginia, believe it or not.
