How does Loudoun look? I used to live in Sterling. I see Lower Loudoun as a legit place we could look to up our performance. I'd love to see any polling data out there.
I wish I could be banging on doors for Kaine.

Sorry I am late in replying to you on this one--Kaine's done a couple of events in Leesburg. I was calling Loudoun County on Friday, and of the small percentage of recipients who were a) actually home b) answering the phone, I'd go 70% for Kaine, maybe 15% Kilgore. The rest were probably evenly split between "I don't discuss politics on the phone" (I wish I'd known that before we called you EIGHT TIMES) and not enough English/hearing capacity to respond cogently. So lookin' good so far, but then those were calling lists from which the most rabid Republicans were supposed to have been excised months ago.
The Washington Post had an article last week about a massive influx of donations from devilopers to Kilgore in response to Kaine's statements--sadly, it came too late for us to talk to voters about, because western Loudoun is all about hatin on devilopers...

There is a huge untapped immigrant vote in Southern Loudoun. It could be our base if we could get some young bilingual folks to help our cause. I know what those lists are like, I think it is going to be close, but I think Caine might do it... at least that is what I am seeing from the Post etc.
