If Potts does better than expected, who does he hurt the most? I must |

admit that my biggest concern is that he will hurt Kaine and give the election to Kilgore. Or are there enough Republican fiscal conservatives in Virginia that would never vote for a Democrat but will flee to Potts because he is a Republican and thus hurt Kilgore?

I live near Russ and if he were running unopposed vs Tim Id vote for him. The first GOP vote of my life! That said, I am a rarity. He will draw from conservatives much more that liberals, no question. His candidacy hurts Kilgore and wont draw many votes from Kaine.

That's the way I've been reading it too, but who knows? This state can be so damn quirky! At least one good sign: W is landing in Richmond tonight to support Kilgore - maybe that will be the stone that really sinks his ship!!
