Al Weed gets first candidate post!

Okay, so not in person. But if you live in the 5th district, or if you live in a district with a "safe" incumbent and are itching to donate time and/or money to a Democrat with a reasonable chance of unseating one of our more regressive Congresscritters, Virgil Goode, then check out Al Weed's campaign if you haven't already.

3. Weed

I've been following Al Weed for a few months, and he's almost too good to be true. I'm waiting for the news of a live boy or dead girl!

I think he has a great chance of beating Goode, especially when 5th district voters fully realize just how regressive and intolerant Goode is. Last month or so Goode presented (or supported) a plan to make English the official national language, and then he fights to limit science funding in the state but takes credit for what funding does get through. :puke:

Weed sounds very good but will need a big influx of donors and a war chest of 750K or more to make a race

The voters in this district a pretty conservative

He has a rural/small business background that might have some crossover appeal
