Do you think Warner has what it takes to be President?
I might as well ask the people most credible, the fine people of Virginia! :hi:

2. Yes,
and worse yet, he is electable, however if Hilary runs she would take a lot of his vote. Frankly I hope she doesn't because the Repukes already have a huge casefile of smears ready to go on her. They don't have anything on Warner. He is squaky clean.

3. He's an excellent manager and has a good sense of people,
a lot like Bill Clinton in many ways. I think he'd be a great Pres.

4. Governor Warner is exactly what we need.
I think he is exactly what America needs. He brings fiscal intelligence to the table and Washington so badly needs that (President Bush has never vetoed a spending bill). He isn't such a polarizing person on the social issues (Though the fundamentalists can't get over abortion; maybe the NRA can agree with him on guns as they did in 2001) and, I think, he knows that the economy is where the action. Hopefully, he also knows what sectors of it are key b/c I'm sure the rest of us have no idea.

5. I need to meet him in person to decide
But I am moving BACK to VA from Ohio in April, can't think of one state I'd rather reside in...it's the best managed state in the whole flippin country! Thanks to Mark Warner, it's very progressive and technologically advanced. Ohio is stuck in the 70s. Don't even take credit cards at the frickin DMV.

6. Does he have what it takes to be President?
I think he probably does. Does he have what it takes to become President? No. Would I personally vote for him? No. He is a very bland politician, I've never had a fire ignited when hearing him speak. Alot of folks like to compare him to Clinton but to be honest Clinton could make you believe him even when he was lying, we all know that. Warner can't. He's more like Al Gore or John Kerry, only without the passion. He's safe. He's another paper candidate. Sure he's got a good list of achievements under his belt and could definately make a stronger, safer, smarter America but in all honesty he couldn't make it against a John McCain or a Mitt Romney. He just doesn't cut it.
