Miller and Webb in Virginia Beach, June 10

Hello All,

GREAT NEWS! Our favorite candidate for U.S. Senate Jim Webb will be attending the Virginia Beach Democratic Breakfast on June 10th at Jason's Deli in Pembroke Mall. The breakfast starts at 9AM and costs $8.00 (a pretty yummy buffet style breakfast with coffee, juice, etc. $8.00 is the total charge including tax, gratuity, etc.) It is open to anyone, no need to be a member to attend, or even to live in Virginia Beach, for that matter.

Elected officials from the area will also be in attendance. I do not know if Harris Miller will be attending or not, but it's very possible. (***UPDATED in another email Miller's attendence has been confirmed***)

IMPORTANT: The VB Democratic Committee has officially announced that it will be holding a straw poll for Webb vs. Miller at this breakfast. It is VERY important that we get as many Webb supporters as possible to attend the breakfast in order to support Jim, especially with the presence of elected officials from Hampton Roads. Please bring your friends, spouses (kids can come too... it's very informal), significant others, etc. out to meet Jim and to support him in this poll. Let's let Miller know that we don't appreciate the constant barrage of attacks on Jim he's been making. We need to help Jim win this poll to give him momentum going into the primary the following Tuesday. It is entirely likely that a reporter following Jim around on the Saturday prior to the election, so the results of the poll could end up being mentioned in a paper or two. Bottome line: please get the word out about this to Webb supporters you know in the Hampton Roads area.
