5. That's supposedly from Larry Sabato commentary about the race. |
|
That sounds a lot like a Webb supporter talking point in case Webb loses tomorrow. When he wins you won't hear another word about republicans voting for miller.

13. They aren't capable of organization at that level. |
|
Would take too much effort.
Although, in the rethug primaries, we should definitely do it.

If he wins...tomorrow he will be Former Lobbyist Harris Miller. Webb didn't dig up all of Miller's dirty deals. Allen will. What an embarrassment for Virginia Democrats that will be!!!

11. Yup and Miller ran a pretty dirty campaign for a primary. |
|
Miller spent almost 1 million of his own cash to Webb's 100k.

"Anti-Christ of out-sourcing"? Like that's not inflammatory.

15. Went with Webb after 'flip flopping' a bit! |
|
Here's what I sent to my democratic family after I voted:
"After much mental turmoil, I ended up voting for Webb. Last week I'd changed my mind from Webb to Miller because of an email from Webb's campaign smearing Miller as a "Northern VA liberal". In the end though I couldn't reconcile Miller's support of "vapor trails" and electronic voting plus his strong support of technical outsourcing and lack of support for labor unions (how you can be a liberal democrat and not support labor unions is beyond me...). My initial reaction of Miller as a corporate democrat was too strong to overcome in the end. I hope I haven't voted for a DINO."
The "Northern VA liberal" slur really got to me since I was raised a Northern VA liberal - but it's too important to beat Allen this fall so that was the overriding factor for me.

16. No. VA liberal??? Dear Lord, I hope I haven't voted for a DINO |
|
in voting for Webb! I hadn't heard that quote--good thing, because I don't think Miller is liberal! That is one reason I voted against him. The major striking point against him, in my book, was that he doesn't see anything wrong in those corrupt DRE's without a paper ballot, hand counted only! There were other things, too, like his believing outsourcing jobs overseas is a good thing, his believing that Bush's tax cuts should be made permanent!
Liberal, my ass!
I hope Webb, as a former Repub, doesn't betray me! If he does, I will work to defeat him in six years (if he wins the Senate against Allen) and that is a promise!!
