I was just phone polled by WUSA9 about Allen's slur. It was a quick little survey asking if I heard what he said. Was it appropriate, was it racist and would hurt him in '06,'08. You don't have to guess how I answered. :D

1. This won't play well in Northern Virginia...

but Allen's running behind here anyway. Hard to say how it will play out in the rest of the state, but most of the so-called experts are saying it won't hurt him. Shows you the volume of ignoramuses that populate this state :( .

He's handled the three excuses so poorly. It could still damage him with people that don't mind his racist underbelly. The WUSA9 poll will at least give us some idea how some Virginia's feel about his slur.

It's clear that Allen's future '08 run is pretty much over. Now we need Webb to finish him off for good.
