There are even more shocking rumors circulating through the state about Sen. Macaca - but this is Virginia. Many parts of it are marching merrily backward from the 19th to the 18th century. Some of this stuff will probably endear him even more to his voter base. We can certainly hope not, but experience certainly points that way.
