I think the chimp was in Richmond for a grand total of 30 minutes the last time, and that was enough to sink Kilgore.
In another parellel, I think just about this time in that race, the polls had it dead even, with Kilgore having a slight edge, and Kaine trounced him.
I'm cautiously optimistic.

on Broad Street. There will be a protest from 3:00 to 5:00 or so. The group will be meeting as close to the museum as possible, depending on the road blocks. Their aim is DMV.
