Heads up for Primary voters. Check your voting location.

I've been voting since '96 and have had the same location since I moved in '97. With eight days till the primary. I received my voter card and they've changed my voting location. It isn't that far, but I would've appreciated a little advanced notification.

I know my location, but can't remember if I'm registered as a Democrat. Is there some way to look this up online?

2. According to the NYT article above VA has an open primary and

you do not have to be registered for a specific party to vote Republican or Democrat (meaning a Republican can vote for a Democrat). At least that is the way I understood it.

Of course after using it I felt like an idiot.. my polling place is right up the street.
