<Virginia is tied for last in our country in supporting energy conservation and efficiency efforts. Yet, rather that pursue efficiency, Virginia is moving to permit a new coal fired power plant. We need your help to reverse this situation and put Virgina on the path to a clean energy future.

Dominion Virginia Power is proposing a new coal fired power plant in Wise County, VA that would emit 5.6 million tons of greenhouse gases per year. Additionally, this plant would only worsen mercury pollution, acid rain and smog across the state. The air pollution permit for this power plant is currently before the VA Department of Environmentntal Quality.>
