Help please - Virginia voting question |
|
Hey everyone,
My wife and I moved in the middle of August after moving to Virginia last fall. We just moved within Richmond (only a couple of miles away), but we were unaware that we had to notify the registrar of our move before October 4th or something. We're still in the same congressional district but our current address does not match our voter registrations.
Do you know if we can still vote? If so, do we need to notify the polling place? Do we need to bring proof of our new address? Sorry that I didn't have my bases covered before, but being new to the state we honestly didn't know the requirements. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

I thought that we were ok and this link seems to prove that. Thanks for the help and I'm sorry to ask the question (I should have answered these questions on my own before now).
