Snowballs land Virginia pair behind bars; allegedly struck cop car, city plow

Consider it a cautionary tale for snowball throwers - watch what you hit.

Two Harrisonburg, Virginia men have been charged for throwing "projectiles" at moving vehicles, including a city plow and an unmarked police car.

Charles Gill and Ryan Knight, both 21, were nabbed on Saturday after police were called following reports that moving cars were being struck by snowballs. Similar reports were received the night before.

When police arrived, Gill and Knight allegedly dumped shovels full of snow on a city plow, as well as the unmarked cop car.

The James Madison University students are also accused of throwing snowballs into the police vehicle.
