VERONA -- Workers at a Virginia company that makes blades and cutting tools were surprised Tuesday to receive a shipment of 1,840 pounds of marijuana with a street value of $2 million.
The Augusta County Sheriff's office said deputies found 80 boxes, each holding 23 pounds of marijuana, in a tractor-trailer making a delivery to American Safety Razor in Verona. Lt. Glenn Hanger says deputies don't believe anyone at the company was the intended recipient. No arrests have been made.
