:hi: I haven't seen any pools, except the unscientific ones on pilotonline. Last I saw he was ahead there. I'm really sweating bc of how much money the RNC pumped in. I can't tell you how often I hear Drake ads... :puke:

2. Thelma's really pushing it.....

There's been many complaints in the 2nd District about her automated calls and she's implying she has no control over them? Poor Thelma, blaming the RNCC. Wow, just who we want representing us, right.

3. I've looked and looked, and haven't turned anything up.

If my own very-unscientific poll can be counted, he's got a good shot. My pro-Bush father, who was shocked that his gay son didn't have any sympathy when Schrock got outed, isn't voting for Drake. I don't think he's voting for Ashe, but still. That's big.

4. Drake outspending 3 to 1 or 4 to 1

There is no end to her sleaze. She starts the negative publicity in early September. When Ashe finally answers her in late Sept. she slings even more sleaze (Ashe and his liberal friends...). She is behaving like a crybaby. She has hit Ashe hard on taxes but screwed up by questioning his patriotism. There were a long line of angry voters at 6 this morning, many military. If Bush can't win this precinct, he is decimated...

If Drake loses there should be a national spotlight on how she used so much money to sway voters... Money that came from outside sources for the most part.

Democrats have names first on the ballot in our punch card system.

5. My wife and I both happily and enthusiastically voted for

Ashe. Fuck Drake. Not that I was ever going to vote for her in the first place, but her smear campaign was blatant, transparent, and sophomoric. (especially, the "Ashe's liberal friends" bit).

I have a feeling she will fail.
