Just voted. Today is election day here in Virginia. Entire House of Delegates |
|
is being elected as well as local Supervisors and Fairfax County school board. Surprising good turn out so far, I voted at 6:45 and was voter 150.
:kick: If you are in Virginia, please, please, please go vote. :kick:

1. If we lose the Senate, we will have a Republican controlled |
|
legislature with new Republican Senators that will likely be more conservative than we have ever seen in terms of women's reproductive health, education, the environment, immigration, you name it. Please vote.

2. Agreed. Go vote, Virginians. Very sad that a post encouraging people to vote on election day gets |
|
zero recs and only 1 response.

3. Anxiously awaiting results |
|
I have windows open to follow votes for both local elections (Loudoun) and general assembly seats. Vpap.org has live election coverage btw.
I'm very concerned about our School Board, and pretty much everything else.
Hoping that the good weather brought more people out to vote.

|
So it's 20-20.
My blue county remained blue.

7. Sorry to hear that. I wonder if the OWS movement |
|
Will grow here. It appears that McDonnell has not been as stupid as Kasich in overplaying his hand and ticking off so many of the middle class.

8. McDonnell is more dangerous than the Kasichs and their ilk. He makes his extreme positions seem |
|
moderate and appeals to many independents. I expect him to be the GOP's Vice Presidential nominee.

- recognize global warming is man-made - support postal service - support universal care - support medicare, SS - support fair taxation - support corporate regulation
Anything less, is extreme

They are losing their homes and they vote for the people kicking them out. Very stupid and pathetic. Some people don't know what to do with knowledge no matter how much of it you give them. Why do we put up with them? Why do we let them continue to vote and malign our lives?
