Just voted at St. Andrews Methodist Church (Larkspur) on PA Road. At 1 pm, I will be handing out Kerry/Ashe Lit to voters. I voted this morning around 9 am. I usually just sail right in and vote with no waiting. I had to wait about one half hour, and the line was very steady. I had an email from the campaign that had Kerry ahead by 1% point in VA. And Ashe is ahead of Thelma the liar. Good news all around, I would say.

She has carpet bombed the district with her hateful and misleading mailers and her TV commercials are despicable. I heard in one of the forums with Ashe that she made a stupid statement about serving the military in this area. She was asked about Aircraft Carriers, and said that the only thing you need to know is that they are big. At least that was the gist of what I understood her to say. Her lack of knowledge about military matters is glaring and it showed in this debate. I would rather have a man of principle and a veteran who knows about the military than a party hack. Any day.

7. What's it looking like for Ashe in VA 2nd district?

I was born and raised in Bay Colony back behind 47th street at the oceanfront and I am very concerned about the outcome of this Congressional seat.

I finally had the chance to check out the results (I live in Colorado)and am tickled that Ashe is going to Congress. Let it be a lesson to the right wingers in the area that the Dems have quality people to represent them. Maybe Ashe will open eyes thereby open doors for more Dems in Virginia.
