DUers! Lets draft Senator Robert Byrd to contest the election!

Robert Byrd may be the only senator who doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks of him. I mean really, what other senator is in that position, and who can afford to be that outspoken? And has already been that outspoken?

Email is low effort, perhaps we need Washington DC DUers or Virginia DUers to conduct a vigil in front of his senate office or home, for Byrd to be the savior.

He has already stuck his neck out with his book "Losing America" what does he have to lose at this stage of the game?

I'm from Michigan...what can I do to support this? Fax? Phone Call?

2. I think phone calls might make more of an impression than email

but in person is best.

3. What if his constituents in West Virginia call him?

Wouldn't it have more effect if his calls were from people who actually voted for him instead of those of us in a neighboring state?
