WVU researchers told legislators in town for interim meetings on Tuesday that the school adds $10 to the economy for every dollar it gets from the state's general revenue budget.
"This is a very conservative estimate,'' study co-author Randy Childs said after addressing the Joint Committee on Economic Development. "And it's not just a Morgantown impact. It's statewide.''
