To get it cranked back up, I'm darned near ADD. Sitting here looking at all this equipment and WAITING (since 12 August) for Verizon to get the internet service installed.
Talk about frustration!

I suppose you're waiting Verizon ADSL. Have you considered a cable modem instead? I've had one for about 4 years and it's great. I'll bet you wouldn't have to wait for a month to get it.

We're waiting for a Verizon T-1. We had to have the dedicated bandwidth. Plus, where I am, Charter STILL doesn't offer cable broadband
