I lost all respect for Byrd and Rockefeller |
|
So Sen. Byrd takes thousands in donations from Moveon.org and just shits on them? What the hell is wrong with Jay Rockefeller? He had nothing to lose. I am so disappointed in the beautiful Mountain State. This day it must be hanging its head in shame.

1. They just shit on all the miners that lost their lives in the Sago Mines. |

It is no secret that Alito voted against Mining Safety Laws.

2. I appreciated Byrds statements... |
|
...regarding the IWR, just as I appreciated the comments made by Rep Ron Paul of Texas. But both of them are homophobic and I have more than a handful of issue differences with them. DU too often suffers from the "we're looking for a Messiah to lead us" complex, where someone is applauded and put on a pedastal, only to be knocked off and cursed the next week for doing something irritating.
The "collective DUs" love affairs with people are more fragile than a Hollywood marriage.

at least when byrd screwed us he was consistant with both votes and din't try to fool us with a phony 'no' vote
between manchin and these two embarassments, i'm beginningto think there isn't a single real democrat left in office
