but I'm having friends up to watch it tomorrow night on the big screen high defenition TV. I think we'll win because our defense has been showing signs of life recently.

I think the coach is better at getting the team pumped up than old Donnie was. Don was a repub even as a coach. Now he's campaigning for a guy who's so ashamed of being a pub, that he won't put it on his signs or his TV ads.

3. Heads up, they're showing last year's WVU - Louisville game at 5 PM

That rerun will be on channel 28, the Classic Sports Network (CSN) if you have Charter/Suddenlink cable.

Then of course this year's game starts at 7:30. The live game is being broadcast in high definition on channel 773, HD ESPN. If you don't get that channel you can watch on regular ESPN, channel 26.

Don was a sorry coach. Smash mouth is stupid. Rich Rodriguez is smart, and much better. Look at what he's done already with the leftover recruits that we have to work with, just like every year. For me that makes victory sweeter, always being an underdog on account of the recruiting advantages of others.

I'm having a bunch of friends over, as I have a pretty elaborate TV room. I'll be watching the election returns come in there too. I don't know if I'll be able to hold up to these 2 heart stoppers in one week!

Thanks for the heads up...I'm getting a 51" HDTV in two weeks,(a hand me down)so I'll catch the WV vs Ohio State game in HD for sure!

Repig Don was a run it up the middle on first down every time man and even my dog knew what to expect. Donnie wasted some great talent at WV over the years, with his bullshit conservative play calling. Fine throwing QBs like Jake the Snake and Mark Bulger for example. Why weren't they throwing the ball more on first down?

Coaches and football scholars are coming from all over the country now, to study coach Rod's offensive wizardry. Coach Rod is the man with the plan. WV is no longer a flash in the pan...they ARE the real deal...a contender.

The football know-it-alls are spotting the Cards a point and a half, but I don't see it that way. The WV D has done nothing but improve and catch up with the O and I think it's ready to rumble. The Scarlet Knights are killer too and Pitt is getting better and better. The Big East is gaining some serious respect this year. WV's football future looks better than ever before IMHO. I was really upset when BC, VT and Miami left the Big East, but now things are looking a lot better!

Gimme a shout when you get ready to hook up your new HD display. I've made all the mistakes myself and can maybe help you. I'll assume you're getting a home theater (sound system). If so, you'll need optical connections from your cable box to your receiver for the best sound.

My brother-in-law is a big, big Ohio State fan and he's coming here from Ohio to watch the WVU/OSU playoff. Maybe you should consider just coming here. I live so far out in the country, we usually wade out into the snow at halftime for a name writing contest.

I've been thinking it's kinda funny how BC, VT, & Miami left us in the Big East to associate with higher class teams, don'tcha know. Broke my heart, particularly as far as VT is concerned. That was a wonderful rivalry and a perfect example of what makes college football great. But now look at them. I'll bet all of them are regretting their decision. Too bad, so sad. Too late, we're not letting them back in now. Run along now, buh bye.

I got home just in time to see Bednarick's injury. This is the moment when the team turned into something special.

To make this a bit more appropriate for the board, I have never heard any comments about Coach Rod's politics. He comes from the coal fields, which would imply that he's a Democrat, but with all the money he's making as a coach, he may sell out like Don Nehlen. Lord, I hope not!
