I singed my couch last night cursing Bill Stewart! |
|
The WV offensive game plan is offensive when you look at the talent on the field going to waste and the lack of imagination on the sidelines. Going for it on fourth caused the OT. Going for it on fourth and not making it that early in the game gave the Herd instant momentum. And WV's running up the middle on first and second downs almost without fail SUCKED again! How much better would number 7 be if the D didn't expect a run on the first two plays on almost every series...I'm "Series"!1!!11!!1 The kids on the field pulled Bill's bacon out of the fire last night.
The Herd looked good. Doc is the real deal. I look for the Herd to do nothing but improve under this guy.

1. Going for it in the 4th was our only choice. |
|
Going for it early in the game is what you do when you have an idiot coaching your team. Remember, "I want touchdowns not field goals" last year? He must think he's brave or something.
Did you think there were a lot of bad calls that went against WVU? Did you notice, just for example, that long reception, when the Marshall player came down a foot out of bounds and they gave it to him? And Go-For-It Stewart didn't even ask for a review?
Hope they play better a week for now. I've got tickets.

2. Oh where have you been Billy Boy? |
|
He missed all those ball games where the guy on TV says, "You ALWAYS want to put those points on the board!" Bill is too "NICE" to ask for a review. It might hurt somebody's wittle feewins. He's so NICE it almost makes me ill. Yes I remember Bill telling his QB he "wanted 7s not 3s" I notice he loved the 3 at the end of the game and I'll bet he was glad the other guys didn't make their last try for 3. I wonder if Bill was glad he won by 3?
Coach Homer Simpson...(he did good against the Sooners one time)(I'd almost sooner he hadn't...almost)

3. That three was good enough to get us from 23 to 21 in the polls. |
|
And save us from the fate of Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech.

5. And Pitt's Jason Douglas was busted Sunday morning for DUI too. |
|
Douglas' chages included hit-and-run. I hate to see a youg person ruin their lives when they have so much going for them.

I do too. Some can't handle the fame.
I hope it doesn't spell the end of Brandon Hogan's time as a Mountaineer.
