“At the request of the president, I gave several suggestions for potential candidates for him to consider when nominating a replacement for the late Judge Charles Haden,” she said in an e-mail.
“I await the president’s announcement and trust the U.S. Senate will take action to ensure our federal bench is equipped with an intelligent and capable jurist.”
