| Former Brown Co. Republican Party Chairman & Treasurer Donald Fleischman was "sentenced" |
|
on a plea deal that dropped felony child enticement charges to four misdemeanors-Brown County Circuit Court Judge Donald Zuidmulder ordered Fleischman to serve 30 days (23 with good time) followed by 2 years probation.
Another child predator political case bites the dust here. 30 days, 23 with good time, is outrageous-he should serve a 5 year minimum with sex criminal counseling and lengthy probation with monitoring-what do you think?

| 6. That's some seriously creepy stuff, Bob. The dKos link -- ee-yewww |

The RawStory report just made it sound like one person's word against another's, but there were other, underage police informants quoted in the second link.
It's pretty hard to understand how those good, conservative, "family values" Brown County repubs can begin to square with their (apparent) hypocrisy, on this one. There must be a third version of the events, being circulated, between the 'good ol' boys' in the prosecutor's office, and the G.O.P. base. No doubt 'those boys were ought to get' their guy. Taking their marching orders from MoveOn.org and George Soros, personally.
Or maybe it's just another episode reflecting one of the sad realities of the system. The guy with the better lawyer and much more money, somehow; so often, manages to prevail. Go Figure.
