I'm back to watching CBS 58 for local news at 5:00.

I am so sick of Cathy Mikelby on ch 12. And her female co-anchor, whatever her name is. And the guy with the thinning hair. I don't care if they have a news chopper, it's not worth it. I do like Mike Miller, but that's because he went to my high school and seems pretty normal. But he's usually not the anchor. He was one class ahead of me and I remember him walking around in his letterman's sweater.

I tried watching channel 4 but they deliver the news in such a robotic, staccato style that it felt like I was being pelted with little stones.
And the guy with the white hair is creepy.

So I'm back with 58. Their weather coverage is decent and news okay too. I mainly want the next day's weather forcast and to check on the latest in Milwaukee. I noticed that they are last out of the three for ratings. But maybe that's a good reason to watch--why go with the crowd?

I do like to see what's happening locally. Sometimes it's even interesting, lol.

3. 58 doesn't come across to me as sensational

at least compared to 4 (chopper zoom, Courtney Garish, blah, blah)

4. The guy with white hair on 4 is creepy.

He's my neighbor, apparently.

Last summer, on nice days, I often saw him sitting in front of the Farwell & Brady Starbucks. He has that clothing store plastic mannequin look when you see him up close, too. He never looks relaxed, or off-guard. It's like he's expecting to be on camera, every second.
