| Asshat far-right radio host to stage protest against Green Bay Obama visit. |

Edited on Wed Jun-10-09 12:33 PM by TheMightyFavog
http://www.nbc26.com/global/story.asp?s=10506680President Barack Obama arrives at Southwest High School in Green Bay Thursday and one local radio talk show host can't wait. "How many times does the President of the U.S. come to Green Bay?" asked WTAQ radio host Jerry Bader.
But Bader isn't about to praise the President and toss accolades on him. Instead, quite the opposite.
Plainly put, Bader thinks the nation is on the fast path to socialism and blames Obama for the plunge. "We know that the government running an automobile corporation is socialism," said Bader in an interview with NBC 26 Tuesday afternoon, citing one of many examples that he gave.
To get his point across, Bader is helping organize what he calls a "proclaiming" at Beaver Dam Park Thursday morning, which is right next to Southwest High School. Basically, he wants as many people as possible to show up and make their voices heard, specifically their views on the government's "socialism" policies. "Listeners asked for an opportunity...how many take it is up to them," said Bader.:eyes:

Limited seating for the Obama event - but unlimited seating for making fun of conservative idiots.

I volunteered in Green Bay today. Early in the morning there were some wannabe protesters. bader was there. I called "my connection," and the police came and escorted them away. I never saw them again. Here's a link to a thread I wrote about it in GDP: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=8465159&mesg_id=8465159And yes, it was sweet!

Hundreds of the wingnuts thought they could stand in front of the school, as the President arrived. Dumb. They got shuffled a block away north of the event. Good vantange point, that'll show the Obama guy!
Some did figure out to stand south of the school, something Bush would have never tolerated. Bush banned anything within 1/2 mile of his motocade.
The Party of "Know Not How to Protest" got no press. That all went to a 10 yr old.
Radio nut forgot his sunblock, another dumb move.
