The Oconto Blue Devils boys basketball team cruised to a 33-point win in Gillett Tuesday. But they did it without their head coach, Mike Ruechel, who was suspended indefinitely by the school district Monday.

The suspension came after a physical, foul filled game in Sturgeon Bay last Friday. It was Oconto's first loss of the season. Ruechel also got a technical foul.

Sturgeon Bay's superintendent, Joe Stutting was at Friday's game and called Oconto Schools and the WIAA Monday.

"It was probably the worst sportsmanship I've seen in my entire career," said Stutting.

The bastard high-fived and congragulated one of his kids who got ejected after a technical foul.
