1. I stopped listening to Merens years ago.

As soon as WPR decided it wanted to compete with conservative yahoo radio, they lost me.

And I'm sure instead of kicking the brainless and rude fool off the air for his behavior, Ben let it go on and on, wincing out his tiny protests if he even bothered to at all.

But don't dare to criticize his guests unless they are libruls.

5. He was on Neal Conan a right after their Nashville convention

He was a bigger jerk on that segment then he was for the Meren's show. That was the most uncivil of a guest I have heard in all my time listening to public radio.

With regards to the Meren's appearence, I counted just one semi-legit arguement he made. Even I could shoot down all his other positions before the other guest could get his shots in.

He handled himself poorly by calling the caller "honey". OTOH, she's the one who threw the race card in his face and then cut off his reply.

i wish they would at least podcast their "week in review" show - but keep it statewide in focus
