Any thoughts on the Dems running for Lt. Gov? |
|
I read the blurbs at LWV and felt kind of underwhelmed. Anyone know these guys?

1. I'm voting for Sanders |
|
I like his history of starting two companies and focus on job creation, his energetic campaign with branches on the college campuses, his forthright manner (not afraid to say he's for marriage equality). He got his start in politics working for Tammy Baldwin. Nelson has been a rising star in the party but he strikes me as feeling he's entitled to win this. His ad called him "the Democrat for Lt. Gov." as if the others aren't. I don't appreciate that. Coggs comes from a powerful political family in Milwaukee but I don't think he's campaigned much. The other guy, whose name I forget, is a joke. I've seen all the candidates speak at least once, some several times, and I'm leaving soon to vote for Sanders.

2. Rats. Missed your post and had already voted. |

I was undecided between Sanders and Coggs. I had a hard time and ended up voting for who my union endorsed: Coggs. However, if Sanders wins, I could heartily join his camp! Thanks for your response.
