Does your polling place have electronic voting? |

Where I am, they have electronic voting computers and paper ballots. I live in a very small town, so I'm sure they are pretty much everywhere by now.
If you have the option, do you ever use the computers?

I'm in a small community, too. I've never used it or seen anyone else use it.

2. I used electronic ballots in Colorado |
|
and I found the process to be quite easy. It did however print out a small card with all of my votes on it, so that I could verify each one, and then turn the card in. Paper trails are good.

3. Every polling place must have an electonic voting machine |
|
These are for use by people with disabilities who find it hard to use the regular paper ballots. In essence the voter chooses his/her desired candidates on the computer, which then prints out a ballot that goes through the scanner just like every other ballot. Others could use the machine, I suppose, but it's not as easy as just marking a ballot with a pen.

4. I saw a lady use the touch screen. I don't remember a printed ballot coming from it. |
|
But that was six years ago and my memory might be hazy. The poll worker asked every individual if they wanted to vote by touch screen or paper. I'll look next month to see if the touch screen prints a ballot. I assumed they were like Diebolds and others across the country where the votes go to the memory card only.
