According to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Online:
Republicans in the state Senate ordered Democrats to return to the chamber by 4 p.m. or be found in contempt of the Senate.
If they do not return by then, Senate Sergeant at Arms Ted Blazel will be ordered to "take any and all necessary steps, with or without force, and with or without the assistance of law enforcement officers, by warrant or other legal process, as he may deem necessary in order to bring that senator to the Senate chambers so that the Senate may convene with a quorum of no less than 20 senators," according to the resolution that was adopted.
Senate Democrats have been out of the state since Feb. 17 to prevent passage of Gov. Scott Walker's budget-repair bill. At least 20 senators must be present to pass the bill, but Republicans hold just 19 seats.
"We simply cannot have democracy be held hostage because the minority wants to prove a point," said Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau).:puke:

These naked power plays are only going to hurt the WI GOP in the eyes of the people. Strongarm tactics will eventually backfire.

Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Asshole). How about, "We simply cannot have democracy be held hostage because the MAJORITY wants to cram a bunch of bullshit laws through under the guise of legislation," Hey Scott (what is it with all these nut jobs named Scott anyway?). The senate Dems are not trying to prove a point. They are trying to do their job which is passing legislation that is beneficial to the people of Wisconsin. In this case, you freeptards are trying to pass laws that are insanely bad for Wisconsin and extremely good for the Koch brothers. The only option they have to prevent that is to block a vote by not showing up. Ideally, they will be able to continue this until enough of you Republican assholes are recalled in the next couple of months, and then the real budget work can begin. Oh, wait, if you find you are in the minority and don't like the bills, the first thing you turds will do is hop a plane for Tahiti or some other place that is way farther and more difficult to extract you from. The second thing you'll do is start bragging about how steadfast you are in helping the people of WI.

I hope they are recalled and voted out in huge numbers for being so hateful to working people and to those who represent us.
