There will be a special election to replace them....pretty safe seats for the most part.

4. I don't know that they're safe

Huebsch's seat is growing more and more into a swing district trending Dem. I think he would have been out last November if Dems had just shown up at the polls.

Anyway, Steve Doyle is running for the open seat on the Dem ticket and word is he stands a good chance.

5. The bigger opening is the State Supreme Court seat held by Prosser.

It would be a VERY big deal if we can take that away.

a 22 year attorney with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, who has served under attorney generals of both parties and has handled issues from constitutional law to environmental prosecution.

there will be a primary on the democratic side for like the first time ever.

Either one would be wonderful.

Either one could use some help--finacial or otherwise.

So we have some real coordination problems
we have 2 candidates in the speacial and well
2 recalls -grothman and darling
all going on at the same time.

10. What's the "book" on Grothman?

Is he really as solid in his district as he portrays himself to be?

Fond Du Lac seems like a pretty progressive/labor intensive City...am I wrong about that?

11. just printed the map for the20th--as miserable as they come

upon looking at it closely, it could be one of the safest republican areas in the state.
Fon du Lac would be nice but the district does not include it. stops outside of fdl city limits.

looking at this list i can give you a freeper horror story about every damn one.
I get depressed looking at it.

I got so damned tired of hearing Limbaugh, Hannity etc blaring from their shop radios that I could just about puke....

and I know some of the politicians from Kohler, Sheboygan Falls and Elkhart lake..they are the reddest of the red....

I don't think a recall against Grothman stands much of a chance.

without question. The Darling recall attempt is more viable. And some folks in my local party are pushing party members in the grothman distract to work in the darling recall effort. And i understand why --limited resourses, limited manpower, put it where you have the best chance.
Believe me I HAVE heard it all.
Because i have been from time to time, the chair in ozaukee county. When we are fortunate enough to find a candidate,we find very limited to no support from the state party.

lets just say previous chairs have not been so hot....
So anyway, what do i do.
Throw my efforts behind the probable winner--darling recall.

14. Grothman invites contempt

I think O'Donnel has him on his show so much because he wants the rest of the world to see Grothman as the ugly, ugly, ugly face of the Walker Administration.

If the Darling recall group is staffed and funded I don't think there's anything wrong with giving Grothman a few sleepless nights.

You know......

if....Grothman has pissed off enough people

if...the true HORROR of Walker's budget sinks in

There may be a huge backlash against anything and everything attached to the name "Republican"...

long shot...but it could work....it just MIGHT WORK!!!
