If she still has a job, I have no idea why.

4. Does she count her own votes in her basement and |
|
leave ballot bags open for whomever?? I cannot believe that she's still there working, elected or not.

5. These are Republicans. What's there not to understand? |
|
Laws, ethics, democracy mean nothing to Ms. Nickolaus's constituency in Waukesha County. She is surely unbeatable at this time. All her voters in Waukesha County care about is that she does what she can to keep Milwaukee's African Americans out of her county.

6. The only way Kathy Nickolaus will not die in office after constant re-election, |
|
and this is less likely than the the October 21 rapture, is if the State of Wisconsin or Federal Government indicts her for fraud. With Van Hollen in Wisconsin and Holder in D.C. that will not happen. Remember the Obama mantra, we have to look forward, not backwards, with regards to Republican criminal activities.

7. Oh, bull. I'll bet that she won't even re-run in 2012. |
|
She is/was a Republican tool/scapegoat who has served her purpose. They are done with her and she'll be rewarded with some cushy job next year. The GOP leaders are the ones that forced her to recuse herself from the recount.
Watch. Also, kindly back off with the broadbrushed shit you're slinging about Waukesha County. There are some amazing Democrats here, too.

8. There may be many decent and progressive individuals in Waukesha County, |
|
however, the numbers and facts can't be denied. Numbers show that for a county the size of Waukesha County, try to find a county in the U.S. that voted more heavily for McCain/Palin. Growing up in Milwaukee in the 60's and 70's I knew quite a few families that moved to Waukesha County for primarily one reason, and I'm sure you, Nikki, know damn well what that was. In those days it was called "White Flight". Unless there has been some sort of huge change, and I still know many residents of Waukesha County, the priority of any elected Waukesha County official is to keep Milwaukee's African American's out.

11. A threesome ...Waukesha County, Clerk Kathy & GAB |
|
As a Kloppenburg Volunteer I was in two well run counties and saw nothing that alarmed me but one of the county clerks did say that not all Wisconsin counties are run well as far as the voting process.
Something is wrong with Waukesha County, Clerk Kathy and the GAB and the devil is in the detail. Not sure what the problem is (voting fraud or not) but are there not enough abnormalities to warrant the formation of a Grand Jury? Who has the authority to launch such a inquire?

13. I was hoping JoAnn K would take some leadership in the area of election integrity. Maybe she |
|
still will, or maybe she has to lay low - after all she still has to get along with ole JB and the other folks in her office.
This post about KN reminds me - I was going to write to my rep and senator to demand an explanation of what's been going on in Waukesha Co. The GAB "looked" at it and said it's OK -but WHAT exactly did they look at? What exactly did they DO to determine everything's OK (supposedly)? I want a satisfying answer to every single one of those anomalies - from the absurd 97% voter turnout, to the torn open ballot bags, to why did it take her 2 days to announce her boo boo, to why did she think she had to "save" Access data, etc.
I still think that a Co Clerk's job is not only to be fair and impartial but to LOOK it. If there's not some minimum standard of performance- there ought to be. If it's not fraud, OK, fine. Then it's a chronic pattern of incompetence and/or DERELICTION OF DUTY.... Which still needs to be addressed.
