Wis. Manufacture and commerce doesn't think there is a need for extended [unemployment benefits].
"The real question is whether there is still a need for extended . We are increasingly hearing from people that they are having trouble hiring workers who are on unemployment because they want to wait until their benefits are exhausted." -- Jim Buchen of Wis. Manufacturers and Commerce.

Jim would know because Why???

1. How shitty are the jobs/wages they are offering that would cause someone to need UI over wages?

2. Spoken like someone who has never lost a job.
Does the effing idiot not realize that you have to apply for jobs every week to continue to get UI benefits?

3. I have heard that tired old argument for years ... since 1973 to be exact!
Then why don’t employers pay a live able wage instead of people having to work three service jobs to make ends meet. Sorry I forget but accounting to the previous prez that ‘is uniquely American’.

Not to say that unemployment benefits are a live able wages, they are not in fact I feel that they are to low!
