Went to Middle Wisconsin's event Sunday

They had some really great music. In one of the groups a woman played the saw and it was really great.

I went in the late afternoon as Pat Kreitlow gave a talk then. I really like him. They had a pretty good crowd. It was hard to estimate as people were coming and going all day.

There was a little too much drinking by a group of middle aged men that frankly looked liked they were homeless. One of them took our life-sized cut out of Obama (with permission) as he wanted his picture taken with him sitting on a blanket. He was okay but the drunkest one started flicking the cut out in the head and made remarks like he wished he could do this to the real Obama. I went up to him and told him to cut it out and he did and apologized all over the place.

1. I like Pat personally, and think he'd be a worthy successor to Dave Obey.

I was among the many who encouraged him to run, & sent him $$ months ago.
