Is Florence County the Waukesha County of the Northwoods? |
|
Florence County, a heavily Republican County with a miniscule popluation, has still not reported the results from the Holperin/Simic Race. Either Florence County does not have the money to pay someone to work nights and count ballots (per teabagging cuts) or they are sleazy. It may be a good idea to keep an eye on the counts from Florence County in exceeding close statewide races.

They've screwed over their school systems in the county so badly since revenue limits and QEO went into effect back in 1994 that they now have only one left - The Florence County School District. I spend a lot of time in the northwoods and this isn't the only county with that kind of attitude toward government and taxes - but they are probably the worst.
