This month Gov. Scott Walker has named four judges in Northeast Wisconsin. |

"In Calumet County, Jeffrey Froehlich has been named circuit court judge. Froehlich has served as the county’s assistant district attorney for more than 10 years. He holds a law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Froehlich will be the county’s only judge. He replaces Donald Poppy, who retired this summer.
Froehlich is the son of former Outagamie County Judge Harold Froehlich.
The elder Froehlich, who also retired this summer, is being replaced in Outagamie County by Gregory Gill, Jr. Gill served as an assistant district attorney in the county before entering private practice. He holds a law degree from Marquette University Law School.
In Manitowoc County, Gary Bendix has been appointed circuit court judge. Bendix has been a private practice lawyer for 35 years. He has served as president of the Manitowoc County bar Association and the City of Manitowoc Ethics Board. He is also a supplemental court commissioner in the county, a position he will be leaving. Bendix replaces Francis T. Wasielewski, who retired this summer.
