I heard a rumor today that the big announcement Walker is talking about concerns the public workers' pension. The talk is he is going to privatize the fund and give it to a New York firm to manage. Any one else hear this?

1. I did see a post on Facebook about this... |
|
someone was wondering about this as well. They thought Walker was having some "study" done about it and wanted the results by June 2012. He speculated that it concerned the privatization of public workers' pension fund. I have no doubt this is his next underhanded attack...
Haven't been able to find any other info yet, but I'll post if I find something.

3. Don't know about Walker making a big announcement, but it IS a fact that |

funding for a “study” re: the feasibility of privatizing pension funds was included in Act 10.... Sorry too lazy to look up exactly how it was worded but I do know it was in there.
Gee, I wonder what the results of the “study” will be (sarcasm). Having worked in a survey lab once, I know that data and how the questions are framed can pretty much be bent to give whatever results you want.
