We're still going strong with petition gathering in my part of the state. From what I've seen on Facebook pages, the rest of the state is doing well also. In my small city, we are very well organized and busy. We don't have an office nearby, but a small group started organizing on its own, and we've grown to a good-sized army of volunteers. I've done a lot of drive-thru signings (where we set up "shop" along a busy roadway). I don't think there was one person who didn't thank me for collecting signatures. People have been very enthusiastic...many ask for petitions to take home so they can collect signatures, signs, bumper stickers,or Recall Walker buttons. Many people have offered their property along some of the busy roads for us to gather signatures.
Don't have an update on numbers, but I'm guessing they are going to keep those quiet for awhile.

2. They may at some point sit on the information - like they did with the senate recalls - there is a |

LOT of data entry and verifying and removing duplicates that goes on as the petitions are turned in - they don't want people to get complacent and stop collecting. The idea is to go WELL OVER ... just to be sure.
That said I hope we can at least hear we're "doing good" or something like that............

we are going strong here in the Janesville (Rock County) area with a strong TOTAL RECALL WALKER office with many volunteers going out daily. We are concentrating on visibility sites and have not started door to door canvassing as of yet. I personally have gone out ever day averaging 28 signatures per day and will do so for the duration.
Keep in mind it's colder than a well diggers arse but every signatures I collect warms the cockles of my heart .
