Con candidate accuses his party of being racist.

A week after pulling out of his Bramalea-Gore-Malton candidature, the Conservatives' nominated federal candidate Parvinder Singh last week publicly alleged his party of being "racists."

"Turbans and Punjabis have no place in this party," Singh told a crowded press conference in Brampton last week.

"The Conservative Party of Canada has no respect for the Sikhs and the Sikh community of the Bramalea-Gore-Malton," said Singh, adding: "I want to request the people to ask for an investigation as to why Sikhs are not getting government funding."

A spokesman for the Conservative Party declined comment.

My only question is why this was a surprise to him.

1. CRAP IS still the Reform Party....

with it's racist, homophobic agenda. They can change the name all they like, they are still the old Reform rejects, imo. The former candidate is correct and I hope his speaking out reaches those Canadians who don't yet realize what CRAP was, is and always will be.
